service layers

|
A service layer is a logical grouping of services based on the same service model. It is not uncommon for a service composition to span all three service layers established by the three fundamental service models (task, entity, and utility). Viewing a service inventory through its service layers allows for a perspective by which the inventory is comprised of abstracted domains.
