A Service Administrator is responsible for administering a service implementation. This role is concerned with ensuring that the service and any resources it may share or depend on are properly configured and maintained to ensure that the service’s performance is consistent and in line with any guarantees published in its SLA.

The Service Administrator role is typically associated with on-premise service implementations. For services deployed in cloud environments, the Cloud Resource Administrator role is assumed instead.
